hands down, the most durable and most consistent pair of mallets I own. I know some people don't like the rattan feel, but it works great for me. I have subjected these mallets to YEARS of high school abuse and hey have outlasted every kid.

These are very nice mallets. But truthfully, I returned them to the seller, because they are simply too soft and lacking in definition. I could see possibly using them in certain limited situations, but never as a general purpose mallet.

Dave Samuels mallets

I love the sound, feel and weight of these mallets. They work well on both vibes and marimba for a clear concise sound. The mallets arrived so soon after ordering I could hardly believe it! Very pleased with my Steve Weiss experience.

Amazing, versatile mallets!

I love these mallets. I am a big fan of the DS18's, which are the harder version of these, but I was blown away by these. They have a nice rebound off of the bars of a marimba. I haven't played on vibes with them yet, but I know they will exceed my expectations. Buy these and the DS18's!
