Evans MX White Marching Tenor Drum Head - Product Information

The MX White tenor heads are comprised of two 7.5mil plies of the same tonally rich and durable film used to produce the award winning MX bass heads. The head's focused attack and controlled sustain provide excellent clarity when balanced with snares and basses.

All Evans tenor heads are designed with an advanced hoop concept that prevents pull-out, even under the most severe tuning conditions. Similar to the patented roll-over feature present on every Evans Drum set head, the outer wall of the tenor hoop is bent inward to trap the film and epoxy in the channel. Unique to the tenor hoop, however, the roll-over is much more severe and hooks downward, locking in the glue and preventing the outer wall from prying open.

Horrible..

Comments:

Don't waste your money, we used remo white max and renaissance for snare and tenor and Syracuse university switched over to remo so they gave us 20 sets of brand new snare heads and 8 sets of full tenor heads 6in-14in, I must say the tenor heads suck. They have no tone and drum 3 dies almost every week, I changed my 3 head 4 time with in a winter season and we properly tune and play and we don't bash them, in all honesty please don't waste your money.

I love the tone. It's warm and smooth. However, my students bust through the 6" head once every 2-3 weeks.

These are AMAZING

Comments:

I almost exploded in my pants when I first tried these heads. The sound, in my opinion, is perfect even if you suck at tuning. There is no note that is lost when playing with this product. The only set back is that you have to re-tune them/re-tighten these heads like crazy. Other than that, they are very durable, look awesome, and have a great sound.
